Harry Miltner, Managing Director von Formelaustria.at Herausgeber HM Sports, mit einem persönlichem Statement zum Tod von Niki Lauda
My first live Formula One race was the 1976 Italian Grand Prix at the Monza Eni Circuit.
I was six years old and my aunt introduced me to the then best driver in my favourite red car – Niki Lauda. I remember him being very nice to me and showing me his Ferrari in minute detail. I was even allowed to sit in the cockpit.
It was the jump start for my love for F1 and my later career in the sport, which has now lasted more than 15 years and taken me to 257 Grands Prix, working for teams, drivers, circuits, sponsors and media.
In all those years, I have had the pleasure to work with Niki on several occasions, which have always been exciting, professional, challenging and warmhearted at the same time.
Thank you, Niki!
